Fault Diagnostics

When a warning light illuminates on your dashboard, an engine diagnostics check can help identify the problem before more serious damage occurs.

Most modern vehicles today contain many on-board computers which continually monitor the performance and characteristics of the vehicle. Sensors all around the vehicle report back to the ECU's if there are problems such as low fluid levels, increased engine temperature or a wheel speed sensor fault. This in turn, may generate an error code.

There are literally hundreds of potential error codes that can only be read by specialist vehicle diagnostic equipment. While a warning light may display on the dashboard alerting you to an issue, a diagnostics check is required to understand what may be the cause of the problem.

At DMS Auto Services we use state of the art car diagnostic equipment, ranging from OE Level Tooling and computers such as BMW Icoms/Ista or VAG ODIS/VCDS, to test equipment such a Picoscope's Oscilloscope and much, much more.  Our fully-trained, expert technicians are always on hand should the worst happen.
